"In the Sky Tonight" by Chella Courington
In the Sky Tonight
The cut of a crescent moon
recalls my lover's lip. Cratered in hunger
red as dragon fruit, fiery flesh, soft &
watery. Andromeda's Galaxy
halo of stars, blinding white & cobalt
blue, is the iris of my lover's eye
pupil growing wide
spirals me in darkness.
