"Li Po" by Ahrend Torrey

Li Po

I think of you and stay up late
into the night and watch from my bedroom window,
the moon. I see it gleam on my pillow.
I hold my tea to its shining face
looking down at my shadow:

the reflection of who I was
leaving the room behind me.
