"Penny Shouts" by Laurie Kolp
Penny Shouts
The man shouts his way
into understanding the universe
and how every number chimes like crystal
as it rolls into reality.
The man will taste pennies for three days
the spaces between them choices to be made
like gates in a wall
sealed with concrete.
