"You know how Donald Hall says take naps well he was right" by Martha Silano
You know how Donald Hall says take naps well he was right
Reading (Kindle) conked out holding phone near face woke
to lotsa tweets cuz tagged friends emojis
with & in between
Which emojis asks my partner well trophy four-leaf clover sprout
arm muscle peacock w fanned-out feathers
says he opened the front door
Wilson’s warbler on porch I say birds do that when someone dies
like lazuli bunting last Sunday pecking seeds
while we ate lunch
got back many hugs a rosebud more arm muscles a softy ice cream cone
a dopamine deluge little rainbows an umbrella drink
& this is where I’m at with grief
