birds fly into one another
I balance myself on a windmill
live outside the margins
I buy a pair of red shoes
avoid the quicksand
Marcia Arrieta
Marcia Arrieta is a poet, artist, and teacher. Her work appears in Empty Mirror, Marsh Hawk, Local Nomad, DASH, Barrow Street, Fourteen Hills, Eratio, Word For/Word, and Icarus Anthology.
