Psalm 94

My guess
is that from the seat of empire
comes injustice and
not justice.

My guess
is that god does not reject his people
or her people or their people — it’s
hard to say in Hebrew — and would it not be to limit
god to say god lacks a sense of play?

Hey you.

Maybe god doesn’t destroy
so much as give us language through others.
One day a Turkish friend
called me he and she and he
in the same sentence,
all o in her language,
she (o?) reminds me,
as in opening.
